The first step in solving a problem is to realize that there is a solution! It is up to you to find the SOLUTION!
Below you will find an example of exercise that I used when learning to handle my problems in a more effective manner. You might want to try it!
Identify the problem. Ask yourself if you have ever handled a similar problem? If so, how did you handle it?
Did the way you handled the problem in the past help resolve the problem?
If whatever you did worked in the past, by all means, Try to resolve the problem in the same manner.
If the way you handled the similar problem didn’t work for you, Try another method.
List ways you think you might be able to resolve the problem Look for solutions.
Ask yourself what beliefs you have about the problem?
Ask yourself if your beliefs realistic?
Are your beliefs preventing you from solving the problem in a manner which may be effective?
Explore your options.
Ask for help.
In some situations receiving feedback from A support group might prove to be helpful.
